Kenny Hague
I noticed he was on Radio Leicester today, standing in for Bill Maynard, and someone told me that he was also on at some point yesterday? I've also heard him recently on Fosseway Radio. Nice to hear the local legend back in action. Wonder if he fancies a trip to Market Harborough..............................

Kenny mentioned on his BBC Leicester show of Saturday, August 26, "thanks to Guy Harris for the phone call.....great chatting about older days. Guy is Mr Voiceover Man". Guy Harris, ex-Leicester Sound presenter, was visiting his parents in Leicester over the weekend. Though I am not a fan of BBC radio (of any kind), I 'accidentally' heard Kenny's voice whilst frequency hopping in my work's Transit van radio, which is usually tuned into 103 The Eye. Kenny, in my opinion, is THE VOICE of radio in Leicester. I met up with him on a few occasions at Centre Radio's Granville House/Road HQ , on Sundays, when he presented the local Top 40 chart show. Great radio days.
